Success After 6

Success After 6 is a comprehensive support program serving students and families across local school districts. It includes:

After-School Programming focused on academics, enrichment, and family engagement
Care Closets providing food, clothing, hygiene items, and school supplies
Gloria Jones Report Card Mentoring with community volunteers guiding students
Next Gen Leadership for middle schoolers, building life skills through mentorship
Vision Screenings and free glasses through partnerships with Sight For All United and Vision to Learn

Together, these services help remove barriers and set students up for success in school and beyond.

Success By 6 helps children and families prepare for kindergarten by promoting early learning, healthy habits, and a love for education. Through partnerships with schools and family-focused organizations, the program offers:

Kindergarten Readiness Program – a summer program that prepares children for Kindergarten
Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, providing free monthly books to over 21,000 children since 2014

Children from 19 school districts across the Mahoning Valley participate each year, gaining the skills and confidence to start kindergarten strong.
